AI Agent Pro · Module 5: Deploy Your Agent and Sync Your Brain (Live)

Tue, Sep 15, 2026
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
YouTube Livestream

Livestream: https://youtube.com/live/CRTFEknQNvE?feature=share This is Module 5 of AI Agent Pro, a free hands on live course from Argo. Two halves. First, your second brain becomes a git repository. The ignore list, the first commit, and your own skills moved in so they travel with it. Then the server. Create a Droplet and harden it without locking yourself out. Run your agent in Docker, with no open ports. Give it a credential scoped to one repository. Clone your brain onto it and prove the skills load. Schedule a push job that stays silent unless it fails. Write a note on the server. Read it in Obsidian on your laptop. By the end you will have: A server running your agent while your laptop is closed Your vault in a private repository Your skills loading from that repository on both machines A sync job running every 15 minutes A note written by the server, open in Obsidian Links Course page: https://myargoquest.com/courses/ai-power-users/module-5 Setup and download instructions:https://github.com/kon-rad/ai-power-users-course/blob/main/modules/module-05-deploy-your-agent-and-sync-your-brain/student-guide.md

AI Power Users · Module 2 — Agent Mastery and Vibe Coding a Pro Website (Live, Free)

Fri, Aug 7, 2026
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Forest City - Block B Cerulean, Multipurpose room & YouTube Livestream

This is Module 2 of AI Power Users — a free, hands-on live course from Argo. In Module 1 you built a private AI second brain and wrote your first agent skill by hand. You never have to do that again. This session has two halves, and both run on the same idea: you describe, the agent builds. First — your agent builds its own tools. We give it one brief and it writes three skills for itself: /model-research — researches the entire AI model landscape once a week. Text, image, video, voice, speech-to-text, music. Live pricing, ranked, written into your notes. No more "best AI tools" listicles. /switch-models — moves between four models in one command: private, cheap, frontier, and the best coding model. It'll stop you before you send client data to a public provider. /spend-tracker — tracks exactly what your AI usage costs. It remembers what it already counted, so every run picks up precisely where the last one stopped. Then, your agent builds a client's website. We take a real local business, a fence installation company, from a blank folder to a live, deployed website in one sitting: Set the goals — what does this site have to achieve, and how would we know it failed? Build the knowledge base — interview the client, and let the agent look at their photos and write the alt text and a shot list Design the layout and functionality — you describe it out loud, the agent writes the spec Pick the architecture — and make the AI argue against its own recommendation Approve the plan — the moment a non-programmer gets their power back Build it — with the best coding model, using the real photos Prove it works — evidence, not assurances Git, deploy, live URL — on camera, on a phone An agency quotes this at $4,000–8,000 and six to eight weeks. We'll do it in about an hour, and hosting is free. By the end you'll have: Three agent-built skills, wired into your standup on a weekly cadence A tuned SOUL.md — your agent's personality — and you'll know what it costs per message A complete client knowledge base: goals, brief, image inventory, layout, architecture A real website, on a real URL, that you can show someone Git set up, so nothing you build is ever lost Links Course page: https://myargoquest.com/courses/ai-power-users/module-2 Setup and download instructions: https://github.com/kon-rad/ai-power-users-course/blob/main/modules/module-02-agent-mastery-and-vibe-coding/student-guide.md Everything you need to install beforehand is in the setup instructions. "Code is Law" Film Screening & Discussion

Sat, Jan 24, 2026
8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
NS Library

Join the NS Film Discussion Club for a screening and discussion of "Code is Law" (2025), a gripping documentary that dives into the dark side of decentralized finance and the hackers behind multi-million-dollar crypto heists. What it's about: The film follows Andean Medjedovic, a Canadian teen math prodigy who orchestrated a $65 million crypto heist across multiple DeFi platforms—then challenged the very definition of crime before vanishing as an international fugitive. It explores the philosophical and legal battleground where blockchain immutability collides with real-world justice. Why watch at NS: As builders in the crypto/web3 space, this documentary forces us to confront uncomfortable questions about code, law, and ethics. Is exploiting a smart contract bug theft or fair game? Should blockchain be a lawless frontier or subject to traditional legal frameworks? Documentary Summary "Code is Law" (2025), directed by James Craig and Louis Giles, traces the rise of DeFi exploits through several landmark cases: The DAO Hack (2016): The original $60M exploit that led to Ethereum's controversial hard fork Indexed Finance (2021): Where Medjedovic was first identified through a Wikipedia vanity edit Mango Markets (2022): Avraham Eisenberg's $110M exploit (his wire fraud conviction was later overturned) KyberSwap (2023): Medjedovic's second hack—$48M stolen while already on the run from authorities The documentary features interviews with Indexed Finance co-founder Laurence Day (who calls "code is law" dystopian), prosecutors, and crypto insiders—though Medjedovic himself declined to participate, claiming from self-exile that he's now a "white-hat hacker." Critical reception: IMDB 7.7/10, Official Selection at Julien Dubuque International Film Festival 2025 and Atlanta Docufest 2025. Pre-Watch Questions Things to consider before watching: If a smart contract has a bug that allows you to drain funds legally through its own logic, is that "theft" or just using the system as designed? Should blockchain protocols operate outside traditional legal systems? What are the implications for mainstream adoption? How do you balance the ethos of permissionless, trustless systems with protecting users from exploitation? At what point does technical skill become criminal intent? Post-Film Discussion Themes Code vs. Law: The documentary shows prosecutors seeking 90+ years for Medjedovic. Is this proportionate? How should legal systems handle smart contract exploits? Identity and Anonymity: Medjedovic was caught because of a vanity Wikipedia edit. What does this reveal about the tension between seeking recognition and staying anonymous? The Ethereum Fork Precedent: The DAO hack led to a chain split. Should communities reverse "legitimate" exploits? What happens to immutability? Builder Responsibility: As developers, what obligations do we have to secure our contracts? Should exploiters be considered "auditors" or criminals? DeFi's Future: Can DeFi mature into a regulated financial system while maintaining its core principles? Or is "code is law" fundamentally incompatible with legal accountability? Hackers as Heroes?: Some in the crypto community celebrate Medjedovic. What does this say about the values embedded in crypto culture? Event Format TimeActivity0:00 - 0:10 Pre-film introduction & discussion questions0:10 - 1:40 Documentary screening (~90 minutes)1:40 - 2:00+Post-film discussion Ongoing conversation via Discord channel. Demo Day 5

Demo Hour

Mon, Jan 19, 2026
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
NS Library

Demo Hour Demo Hour brings together founders, developers, and indie hackers building consumer apps, b2b, open source, and other projects. Slides and pitch decks are allowed but the core requirement is there must be real demo of real products at various stages, from rough prototypes to launched apps. Whether you're stuck on distribution, wrestling with a technical decision, or just need fresh eyes on your UX, this is the room to bring it to.Nearly all successful startups got their first momentum from such a demo, where a spark of enthusiasm can motivate a founder too keep going with an idea, in the very early days this can be a critical thing that determines life or death of a startup. For example, Jobs and Wozniak demoed the Apple 1 at the Homebrew Computer Club, and from that demo they got their first order. That humble demo was the spark that later lead to a trillion dollar company. Here is an opportunity to get in front of an audience and with low steaks, pitch or demo your app. Agenda We will start around 8pm, we will have 3-5 demos, each about 10-15 minutes, and have time for questions and discussions. Network School AI Filmmakers Showcase

Sat, Jan 17, 2026
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
13th floor, VIP room (at the end of the corridor)

Join us to experience first hand the current state of the advent of personalized film making! AI has made everyone into a film maker in the same way as the camera made everyone a painter. What took millions of dollars and thousands of people to make just a few years ago, now can be done by one person for a small cost. About the organizer: Konrad is a creative technologist, who recently organized co-creation sessions on AI Filmmaking at Edge City Patagonia in November 2025, where he shared his workflow. Notably one of his films imagines the future of the network state movement. Themes explored in the films created by him are around network states, human and AI symbiosis, potential of AI assisted education, d/acc philosophy and crypto. If you have made an AI film that you love and that you would like to show, add yourself to the spreadsheet below. There will be a limited number of spots for this week. At the end we will have a form to vote on the crowds choice for the best AI film. Requirements: Film must be made by a NS cohort member and it must be under 5 minutes. NS Film Discussion Club "The Thinking Game"

Fri, Jan 16, 2026
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
NS Library

NS Film Discussion Club: The Thinking Game Join us for a screening of The Thinking Game, Google DeepMind's documentary chronicling the quest to build artificial general intelligence. Format: Pre-film intro (10 min) - Brief context and themes to watch for Screening (~90 min) Post-film discussion - Open conversation about the ideas, implications, and connections Ongoing discussion - Continue the conversation in our Discord channel #ns-film-discussion-club About the Film: Follow Demis Hassabis and the DeepMind team from beating world champions at Go to solving the 50-year-old protein folding problem with AlphaFold. The documentary captures pivotal moments: Move 37, China's "Sputnik moment," the decision to release 200 million protein structures to the world for free, and the team grappling with what it means to build systems that could "divide human history into two parts." Whether you're bullish, skeptical, or simply curious about where AI is heading, this film offers a rare inside look at the people building it—and the weight of responsibility they carry. "It's just a good thinking game." — Demis Hassabis, age 8 Key Ideas for Introducing the Film Before we start, a few threads to follow: Games as proving grounds - Notice how chess → Atari → Go → StarCraft → protein folding forms a progression. What makes games useful training environments for AI? What are the limits? The moment of release - Watch for the scene where Hassabis decides to release all protein structures for free rather than create a paid service. What does this tell us about the economics of AI research? Science vs. spectacle - The HackerNews discussion debates whether entertainment uses of AI (image/video gen) are "a complete waste" vs. essential stepping stones. As you watch, consider: what's the real value being created here? The Oppenheimer parallel - The film draws comparisons to the Manhattan Project. Hassabis says the scientists "did not think carefully enough about the morals of what they were doing early enough." Is DeepMind doing better? Optimization vs. intelligence - One critic called AlphaFold "optimization, not thinking." The film is titled "The Thinking Game." Who's right? Does it matter? Discussion prompt to hold: If you received an email saying a superior intelligence is arriving soon, how would you prepare?Hosted By Global Builders Club, a community that organizes events to educate, support and give platform for builders, founders and technologists.

Public Speakers Hour

Fri, Jan 9, 2026
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
NS Library

Public speaking and story telling are one of the great super powers we can develop in ourselves. Yet it is one of the things people fear most. This hour is your opportunity to get in front of a crowd and tell a story, give a tech talk, or any other form of pubic speaking. This way you can get better at this!Potential topics:- your startup pitch- what technology are you passionate about?- what do you think about exponential technology?- explaining some concept- explain some new technology or art- standup comedy- your life story- what you're hoping to achieve in Network SchoolThe format is simple are: 5 minute talk then 2 minutes question and answer with the crowd. We will start sharp at 8PM and keep a timer of all the talks. In total we will have 5 spots open plus myself going first. A powerful method to improve your public speaking skills was shared at yesterdays workshop on "Storytelling/Pitching" by Rich - to record your public speaking, then watch your video without sound, then listen to the sound without the video, and then transcribe the text and read the text. This can give you better insights and feedback on how to improve and may be something you want to do here.
